BSST’s
advanced development program is designed to sustain an ongoing set
of projects that advance the performance and efficiency of BSST-deployed
thermoelectrics on a continuing basis. This advancement is addressed
by BSST through the pursuit of three major objectives:
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of BSST's advanced
thermoelectrics through continued development and application
of BSST's advanced thermodynamic cycle for thermoelectrics.
- Integrate leading edge advances in thermoelectric materials
such as high power density thermoelectric materials to significantly
reduce the size and cost of thermoelectric-enabled devices, allowing
new applications to be created, and improving and cost reducing
existing applications through deployment of thermoelectrics.
- Develop and apply thermoelectric design and fabrication methodologies
that facilitate state-of-the-art deployment of advanced thermoelectrics
into high-value processes and products.
BSST’s combined focus on the advancement of its technology,
integration of leading-edge thermoelectric materials into applications,
and advancing design and fabrication methodologies, allows it to
offer its customers powerful, and often unique, solutions to their
temperature control requirements.
