Using the strengths of
its technology, BSST focuses on solving those thermal
management problems that require spot cooling or heating of electronic
components
and assemblies, a device, a person, an enclosed space, or a contained
solid, liquid or
gas. Additionally, BSST solutions are most effective where a highly
stable
temperature is required over a long period. Generally, the cooling
or heating power
requirement of a specific situation will be below one kilowatt per
enclosure or device
involved. In addition, alternate cooling and heating technologies
will have not been
effective or applied to the problem due to performance, size, reliability,
or power
consumption limitations.
BSST’s technical staff works closely with its customers and
potential customers to
help them assess the appropriateness of BSST’s solutions for
their specific situation.
Through a rigorous initial analysis, both qualitative and quantitative,
BSST works
with each of its customers to ensure that the temperature control
requirement and
the implications of addressing the requirement are well understood
before any
significant work is begun. Once a project is initiated, the fit of
the solution being
developed is repeatedly reviewed against the requirement with the
customer to
ensure agreement to and understanding of the solution being delivered.
